How to send money to an inmate?

The facility allows the inmate to receive money in their commissary account. In order to send money to an inmate, simply head to the kiosk at the lobby, in the Park County Detention Center facility. The kiosk is open 24 hours a day, and 7 days in a week.

Moreover, you can use MasterCard, Discover, Visa, and cash at the Kiosk to send money.

In case you live far away from the facility or do not wish to physically go there, you may send a money order to the jail. These money orders are payable to the facility.

Making a phone call to an inmate at the Park County Detention Center

It is not possible for outsiders to make a phone call to the inmates. At the same time, the jail administration will not forward the messages to the inmates either.

It is, however, certainly possible for the inmates to make phone calls via prepaid calling cards. For instance, the inmates can only talk for 20 minutes. After 20-minute period the call gets terminated automatically so the inmates are only allowed to talk in short sessions.

Currently, the facility has a contract with the Pay Tel Communications for all of the phone requirements.

Sending email to an inmate

The Park County Detention Center facility does not allow access of the internet to inmates. However, the inmates get access to a Pay Tel Communication account.

The Pay Tel Communication account is far more than a phone account. This account allows the inmates to message their friends and family back at home. This service, however, is not free and involves a fee.

Commissary

The inmates at the Park County Detention Center have a Commissary available. Hence, they are allowed to fill out a form and to request entertainment items, arts and crafts, shoes, hygiene products, food, junk food, and a lot more.

Visiting rules at the Park County Detention Center

Do note that each inmate could have only one visit in a particular calendar week. At the same time, the number of people on a single visit is max three, including children.
