Youth Diagnostic & Development Center is in the city of Albuquerque and is a moderate level security prison, serving Bernalillo County and the surrounding areas. Sending money to an inmate is relatively straightforward and there are several options to do so. It’s possible to send money into an inmate’s commissary account, via money order, cashier, or check (Include the inmate’s full name and inmate ID on the back).

Inmates are allowed to make calls between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. to individuals on the approved members list. Calls can last anywhere up to 35 minutes, although this time is reduced to 15 minutes during busy hours. Please bear in mind that the receiver must pay the full cost.
